Did everyone else have a great time with 4th edition over the weekend? We played the introductory module at Gopher and had great fun. Even with the pregenerated characters, there was tons of room for creativity.
I didn't play him, but the Tiefling Warlord does great battlefield control with Wolfpack Tactics. I played the Wizard, who feels a whole lot stronger at level 1 that 3.5 did. I also played the first part of the module a second time with the Dwarf Fighter. He feels a lot more fun to play than your typical swing and hit fighter from 3.5. He got to do Reaping Strike which does damage even on a miss, or Cleave which does damage to adjacent enemies as well as the primary target.
I can't wait to find a game to play a real character in!

My group is going to try it Tuesday night. We are all running the pregenerated characters.

I'm sure you'll have a great time. First level feels a lot more like third level. (If that makes sense). And combat is fun for _everyone_. The cleric even gets to do more than just "here have a cure light".

Hey! I'm playing a cleric! Good to know that I can do some things other than lay on hands. Thanks for the information.
